Are you an experienced Senior PMO looking for an exciting opportunity to work with a global insurance company? Our client, a leading organisation in the insurance industry, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Contract PMO to join their team.

Our client is a global business insurance, risk management, and consulting services company, known for helping their clients and customers face the future with confidence. Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Contract PMO, you will have the responsibility of overseeing and managing all aspects of project management, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and scope. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaboration with the client and internal stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Development of comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinating and facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including project sponsors.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for project-related communications, addressing concerns and providing regular updates.
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Allocating and managing project resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, for optimal utilisation.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to identify resource gaps and implement strategies.
  • Monitoring resource utilisation and making necessary adjustments for project efficiency.
  • Developing and implementing quality assurance processes to ensure high standard project deliverables.
  • Identifying and assessing project risks, developing risk mitigation plans, and monitoring implementation.
  • Conducting regular project audits to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Preparing and presenting regular project status reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation.

Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Proven experience as a Senior PMO or similar role, preferably in a client-facing capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practises. Such as JIRA and Scrum
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
