Network Engineer | CCNA | CCNP
My client is recruiting a Network Engineer for their large internal team, the role will include working from home.
Key Responsibilities
You will be involved in:
- Maintaining WAN, LAN, Wireless LAN connectivity between locations
- Deploy and configure SD WAN Edge router and security firewalls.
- Participate in, where appropriate in the designs and implementation of various network engagements.
- Monitor and maintain the health and general condition of networks environment.
- Deliver fault isolation and troubleshooting on network systems.
- Assist in network hardware and software configuration standards.
- Collaborate within the network team to develop recommendations concerning equipment life cycle and replacement.
- Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures on a daily basis
- Create and maintain detailed network documentation and procedures
Skills & Experience
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or with similar qualifications.
- Experience in supporting a network environment.
- Good knowledge of key networking protocols.
- Knowledge of WAN implementation and monitoring.
- Knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi networks.
- Troubleshooting network performance using multiple diagnostic and monitoring tools to analyse traffic and provide capacity planning and remediation.
- Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge to the current environment.
- Willingness to participate in a dynamic team.
