About the role
We are committed to delivering exceptional service and efficiency in all our operations. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Manager to join our team and ensure the seamless execution of our transportation activities.
You will be responsible for:
- Working Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm
- Ensure transportation operations comply with all regulations and industry best practices.
- Looking after a fleet of 20 trucks.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance transportation efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyse transportation data to identify areas for improvement and implement actionable solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transportation activities.
- Supervise and train transportation staff, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any arising issues.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and deep knowledge of transportation regulations. They should excel in leadership, effective communication, and collaboration with other departments while being capable of working independently in an office setting. a qualification in Transport Managers CPC, is essential. They must be adept at maintaining accurate records, supervising staff, and continuously improving transportation processes.
