Senior Software Verification Engineer
Hybrid | Bristol | £50-60k
SR2 is recruiting for an aviation company, who are looking for a Senior Software Verification Engineer to join them. This company works on the highest spec of innovative engineering; they are paving the way in their field and are currently experiencing exponential growth.
Within the role, you will contribute to the definition of the Software Verification Plan, test environment including test rigs, test cases and verification procedures as required to verify embedded software for avionics systems, e.g. Auto Pilot, Flight Control and Mission Systems, in compliance with DO-178C and DO-331.
Additionally, you will contribute to the set-up of the Hardware-in-the-loop test environment, using state of the art equipment such as Speedgoat.

Key requirements:
- Experience of working to RTCA DO-178 and DO-331
- Working knowledge of embedded C programming
- Experience of model-based environments such as Simulink
- Experience of using a scripting language (python or similar)
- Demonstrable experience in verification of safety critical software.
- Experience of hardware level debugging
- Understanding of real-time software systems
- Experienced in configuration management and bug-tracking tools
Package:
- £50,000 - £60,000
- 15% annual bonus (up to)
