Accounting Technician / Broughshane / Permanent
Reed Recruitment is excited to be working with a local business in Ballymena, assisting them with the recruitment of a full-time Accounting Technician.
This is a full time permanent opportunity, 8am to 5pm with an early finish every other Friday.

Working closely with the company accountant, and reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Accounting Technician will provide support with all matters relating to the production of management accounts, weekly payroll and general administration/ad hoc duties.
The successful applicant will be required to complete the duties:
- Contribute to production of monthly management accounts
- Reconcile key Balance Sheet control accounts and prepare month end file
- Bank reconciliations
- Regular reconciliation of sales ledger
- Processing of online payments
- Daily bank reports
- Weekly payroll
- PAYE/NIC reconciliations
- Pension administration
- Assist with Year-end audit file for auditors
- Audit queries
- Stock take assistance
- Vat returns
- Grant claims
- Statistical forms/returns
- Completion of EC Sales, Intrastat reporting
- Intercompany invoices/balances
- Overhead cost management/analysis
- Overhead budgeting as required
- Internal Controls/Audit
Essential Experience
- Qualified Accounting Technician
- Candidate with an exceptional attention to detail
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi task and manage deadlines
