Maintenance / Facilities Operative
Central London | Full time
£30,000 - £33,000 p.a. plus excellent bens
5 days on out of 7 - 4 shift patterns on rota basis
We are looking for a Maintenance Operative for an established luxury residential and accommodation company based in the heart of London. You will maintain the property portfolio and the day-to-day management of reactive and preventative maintenance.
Key Requirements:
- Day to day management of reactive and preventative maintenance
- Identifying and rectifying resided maintenance issues e.g., unblocking sinks, showers, 'makinggood' damaged paintwork
- Ensuring a secure, comfortable, and safe environment
- Checks and building walks - logging all your observations on a tablet
- Provide excellent customer service
- Work with the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor to ensure maintenance records and Property documentation files are accurate and up to date
- Dealing with issues or incidents and calling the emergency services when neededUnderstanding the importance of Health & Safety and Fire Safety
Key Skills:
- Experience of Facilities/ Estates/ Maintenance with a proven track record of maintaining assets to exceptional standards within an accommodation or hotel environment
- Help residents have the best experience ever
- Sensible and calm under pressure
- Able to provide a warm welcome to visitors, and contractors to our properties
- Organisation and work through a list of set tasks within a certain time frame
- Good level of computer literacy
- Experience working with a large plant, working with a BMS system or experience in mobilising / opening new buildings
