Tutor/Assessor - Financial Services, Payroll and Accountancy Apprenticeships

Reed FE are working with a Training Provider who are seeking a dedicated Tutor/Assessor for Financial Services, Payroll, and Accountancy Apprenticeships. This role involves teaching and managing learning/training across a range of courses to progress our apprentices through their learning journey, enhancing their performance in their current roles and boosting their career progression opportunities.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging, and interactive training sessions using a variety of teaching methods to meet individual learning goals and positive outcomes for apprentices.
- Facilitate classroom instruction and hands-on training, integrating real-world scenarios, case studies, and guest speakers to enhance learning and application.
- Collaborate with the curriculum development team to update and enhance course materials, lesson plans, and assessments in line with industry standards.
- Conduct regular workplace visits, providing feedback and support, and collaborate with employers to assess apprentice progress and ensure alignment with training objectives.
- Manage a caseload of apprentices, ensuring timely progression and adherence to training plans and qualification requirements.
- Maintain accurate apprentice records on our E-portfolio system and ensure all documentation is audit-ready.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the growth of the curriculum.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in a related subject area or industry-recognised qualifications.
- Post-16 Teaching Qualification (e.g., DET, Cert Ed, PGCE) or willingness to achieve this within an agreed timeframe.
- TAQA qualification or equivalent, or willingness to achieve this promptly.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.
- Experience in apprenticeship delivery and assessment within the post-16 sector.
- Strong track record in teaching, assessment, and curriculum design.
- Proficient in using learning technologies and E-portfolios to support and track apprentice progress.
- Excellent administration, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to deliver KPIs and manage workloads effectively within tight timelines.
