We're eager to welcome a dedicated Geography Teacher to our team in Preston! In this exciting role, you'll engage and support KS3 and KS4 students as they explore the world around them. This position offers a daily pay rate between £155 and £230, depending on your qualifications and experience.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons to students, encouraging them to explore geographical concepts through real-world applications and hands-on activities. Your role will involve assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and tailoring your teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum
- Punctual and reliable
- Teach classes allocated and provide a well planned challenging, purposeful learning environment
- Develop approach to self - directed learning, use technology to support learning
- Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
- Set homework and mark promptly
- Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
- Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
- Respond to questioning
