We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Java Developer to join our client's dynamic and innovative team on a contract basis. If you are passionate about Java programming and have a strong background in Springboot and investment banking, we want to hear from you!

?? Job Summary:

  • Role: Java Developer
  • Contract Length: 6 months
  • Location: Canary Wharf - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
  • Daily rate: £800 - £850 inside IR35 via umbrella

?? Responsibilities:

As a Java Developer, you will:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions.
Write efficient and clean code using Java and Springboot frameworks.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
Debug and troubleshoot complex issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Java development.

?? Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

Strong experience in Java development, with proven expertise in Springboot.
Previous experience within the investment banking industry.
Proficiency in writing clean and efficient code.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control tools.

?? Preferred Skills:

The following skills and experience are highly desirable:

Solid understanding of Microservices architecture.
Knowledge of modern front-end technologies such as Angular or React.
Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
