The role is Service Transition Lead under Core Banking Services domain within Corporate Bank Technology. Service Transition Lead is a technical specialist who is a self-starter with expertise in one or more technical domains. Being engaged in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Service Transition Lead will contribute effectively in all the phases of the SDLC. Service Transition Lead will review (with Functional Leads and Release Managers) upcoming changes from an application on-boarding perspective, participate in demos & reviews leading all the way up to smooth productionization of New Applications or Major change. They will continually drive the standards and adherence to the Production New Application , Major change process and Non Functional Requirements ensuring applications are built with stability in mind and require minimal toil in day to day production support activities.

Your key responsibilities
- Define, Develop, Maintain and execute on a Core Banking Services (CBS) Book of Work process in relation to New Application onboarding to CBS production
- Enhance and maintain non-functional requirements (NFR) with thorough due diligence for both on-prem and GCP applications
- Attend and facilitate major program /project planning meeting to prioritize bug fixes, resiliency and performance enhancements, clearly articulate potential benefits in form of user stories and acceptance criteria
- Provides updates, highlighting any risks and concerns on new or existing application onboarding to CBS Domain /Functional Leads and Central Service Transition team
Your skills and experience
- IT experience gained within large corporate environments, specifically in the area of controlled production environments or in Financial Services Technology in a client-facing function
- Global Transaction Banking / Corporate and Investment Banking Experience is a plus.
- Experience of supporting complex application and infrastructure domains
- Possess good analytical and problem solving skills
- Working experience on UNIX/Linux, Solaris, Java J2EE, shell scripts, secure connectivity and protocols, Monitoring Tools (Geneos/Nagios/NewRelic), Scheduling Tools (Control-M/AutoSys), ITIL Framework.
- Working knowledge of change management, problem and incident tracking tools (i.e. Remedy, ServiceNow etc.)
