Robert Half Financial Services are currently working with a Commercial Bank in London helping them source a Financial Controller for a 12 month role.
To be considered for this Financial Controller position, candidates must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 5+ years PQE experience within the Financial Services sector.
They work on a hybrid working model, 4 days in the office. Lovely offices in Mayfair, hours are 9-5
The role:
This is a BAU Financial Controller role
Some of your main duties will include:
- Month end Management Accounts
- Oversee key regulatory metrics
- Financial/Statutory Accounts
- Tax compliance - corporation tax
- Budget and forecast production
- COREP and Bank of England reports

Candidate profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) 5+ years post qualified experience
- Financial Services experience is essential - Banking experience would be ideal
- Extensive working knowledge of PRA/Bank of England regulatory requirements
- Extensive controls experience
- Self starter
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong technical accounting and financial skills
£90,000 - £100,000
