In this PR Executive job, you will be joining a fast-growing and hugely successful PR Agency that specialises in the Global Gaming Industry. Job description - PR Assistant (Mandarin Speaking)

This team covers PC, mobile, console, VR, and blockchain, and a multitude of genres. They have gained a unique position in the industry with a track record of over 20 successful game launches.

Their extensive experience is highly attractive to developers in the Chinese market, so they are now looking to grow the team with a Junior Account Executive, who will work across the entire business, focusing on helping to develop their Chinese client base.

Key responsibilities - PPR Assistant (Mandarin Speaking)

In this Graduate PR job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day account administration, such as building and updating media lists, writing agendas and reports
  • Liaising with Chinese clients to ensure that their needs are met and looking for opportunities to grow the relationship with new games and services
  • Helping to develop Mandarin sales materials (website, sales decks, etc.)
  • Help identify and approach new Chinese clients in the hope of generating new business for the agency
  • Copywriting for press releases and news announcements
  • Monitoring the news for client coverage
  • Working closely with the wider team to develop campaigns and stories
  • Building and maintaining relationships with journalists and key stakeholders on behalf of clients
  • Supporting the wider team across the agency on relevant tasks

Please note: This role will be 100% remote, with quarterly company in-person meetings. You can work from anywhere in the UK, but must be UK-based.

Job requirements - PR Assistant (Mandarin Speaking)

  • Business fluent in both Mandarin & English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages
  • Although this is a virtual agency and you'll be working from home, you must be based in the UK
  • Prior experience (e.g. internships / work placements) in PR is highly beneficial
  • A demonstrable, genuine passion for video games and the gaming industry is absolutely essential
  • A genuine passion to get into PR long-term
  • Highly motivated, organised, and exceptional time management skills as the role is home-based
  • The confidence to communicate effectively with clients and the media
  • A good understanding of the media landscape and the role of an Account Executive
  • Proficient with standard software tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.
  • A creative and fun streak with a need to deliver great work to your colleagues and clients
