We are exclusivley recruiting for an experienced Oracle HCM Administrator to join a large UK organisation at one of their Scottish offices in Edinburgh or Glasgow. This is a hybrid opportunity that will require 2-3 days on site each week.

You will be responsible for the administration, support, and continuous improvement of the Oracle HCM system. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with HR and IT teams to ensure the system meets the organisation's needs.

The Role:

  • Maintain and administer the Oracle HCM system, ensuring data integrity, system availability, and optimal performance.
  • Provide technical support and training to HR staff and end-users, troubleshooting issues, and resolving problems in a timely manner.
  • Configure and customise the Oracle HCM modules as needed to meet business requirements, including work-flows, reports, and integration's with other systems.
  • Oversee data imports, exports, and migrations, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with data governance policies.
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, coordinating with Oracle support and internal stakeholders to minimise disruption.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols, role-based access controls, and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Develop and generate regular and adhoc reports, dashboards, and analytic to support HR decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements, providing recommendations and implementing changes.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in administering Oracle HCM or similar HRIS systems.
  • Proficiency in Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle E-Business Suite, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and data integration tools.
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Experience in managing projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Oracle HCM certification is preferred but not required.
