You will be working for part of a local authority who are seeking an experienced qualified senior accountant / Finance Manager for 4-months +
Your new roleYou will be providing business partnering services to a range of stakeholders in the children's social care area.The team is small, so you will be an all-round accountant and provide both hands-on management, accounting, financial business partnership and some year-end support as well, overseeing budgets and capital projects within children's social care.
Also, if the person had some children's school finance experience in a local authority, it would be a bonus.
What you'll need to succeedMust be a qualified accountantMust have public sector local government experience recently in children social care, either in a council directly or in a Childrens Trust setting.
What you'll get in returnThere is £500 - 550 p/day Umbrella available.Mainly remote but with some need to visit their office in Birmingham for the odd meeting and to meet and greet the team on the start day to get the laptop etc.
