A client-side Health & Safety Manager position to work on a prestigious gigafactory project in the Automotive industry.
Description
The role will be part of the organisation's Capital Delivery Team. You will be responsible for suporting the Head of Health & Safety in planning & implementation of the Health, Safety & Environmenatal factors for a major construction project in the industrial / manufacturing sector.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Address all issues concerned with Health, Safety & Environmental for construction / heavy industrial / high risk & hazardous sites.
- Engage with all key stakeholders
- Implement H&S strategy across the entire project life cycle (feasibility studies, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance).
- Liaise with external authorities / insurance providers
- Carry out risk assessments
Profile
- Experience working in a Health & Safety Management role on major construction projects
- Project experience within industrial/manufacturing, pharmaceutical, nuclear projects would be advantageous
- Ideally a degree in Health & Safety
- NEBOSH certificate
- Professional membership (CMIOSH or similar)
- Experience of DSEAR, ATEX, COMAH
Job Offer
- Salary: £70,000 - 80,000
- Car Allowance: £6,800
- Bonus: 12.5%
