Interim Mergers and Acquisitions Accountant (6-Month Contract)
Accountable Recruitment are excited to be partnering with a growing UK-based organization in the North West, seeking a newly qualified accountant for an Interim Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Accountant role on an initial 6-month contract.
Based in the North West, you will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, combining office and remote work.
This opportunity is ideal for a Immediately Available, Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant looking to gain invaluable experience in the M&A sector, enhancing their career prospects.

**Job Duties:

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis of target companies, including performance assessment, trend analysis, and benchmarking against industry standards.
  • Due Diligence: Assist in the due diligence process, reviewing financial statements, evaluating financial performance, identifying potential risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Valuation Support: Support the preparation of financial models and valuation reports to assess potential acquisitions.
  • Transaction Support: Aid in the preparation of transaction documents, including investment memorandums, proposals, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Integration Assistance: Work with the M&A team to facilitate the post-acquisition integration process, ensuring smooth transitions and synergy realization.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with various stakeholders, including senior management, legal advisors, and external consultants, to ensure seamless transaction execution.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify potential acquisition targets and strategic opportunities.

**Ideal Experience:

  • Immediately Available with no notice period
  • Newly qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, collaborating with colleagues and contributing to shared goals.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and develop in the M&A field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with financial modeling software.
