Education and Childcare Advisor

Service care Solution are currently recruiting for an Education and Childcare Advisor in Kettering.

The Education and Childcare Advisor will challenge and support leaders and managers in early years settings to review and improve the quality of the provision and to raise all children's achievements particularly vulnerable groups.

Pay rate - £15.11 per hour PAYE / £19.02 Umbrella

Main Responsibilities

As an Education and Childcare Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Work with Childcare providers (non-domestic and domestic) to ensure that there is a high quality expertise within the workforce to support all children within the relevant statutory legislation and frameworks.
  • Continually review, monitor and assess the quality of practice and provision, identifying areas for development and setting targets for improvement resulting from external Ofsted inspection, local performance reviews and requests for support.
  • To recruit and train new and existing childminders to further develop a more flexible and sustainable childcare offer meeting the needs of the family
  • Work closely with Childcare Providers schools and PVI sector to promote better partnership working within the sector to ensure smoother transitions for children moving from early years' settings to reception class in school.

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualification in Early Years or Childcare
  • Knowledge of the Early Education and Childcare sector
  • Enhanced DBS
