Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented ICT teacher to join a new small academy in Oldham.
This is a part-time temporary teaching role from September 2024 to December 2024.
The Role
Teacher of Computing
Three days a week - timetable to be confirmed
Teaching key stage 3 only
Teaching topics including - KODU Programming (Game Creation), Digital Images in PhotoPea, Computer Hardware, Python Programming, Cybernetics, Cyber Security, Encryption, HTML Website creation, Data Representation and Audio Engineering.
The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers and QTS teachers.
The School
New Academy opened in September 2022
From September 2024 the school will have Year 7, 8 and 9 - adding a new year group each academic year.

To join us and be successful in this Computing Teacher role, you will need to:
- Hold QTS Status or QTLS or be an ECT
- The school are ideally seeking a teacher with experience of teaching in a good or outstanding school
- This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
- Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
- Have the legal right to work in the UK with no restrictions
