TPF Recruitment, the leading provider of accountancy practice professionals are currently supporting one of their clients located in Eastbourne. Our client is seeking a Client Manager to join their successful team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review of Accounts: Handle accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
- Tax Computations: Review corporation tax and personal tax computations and returns.
- Assignment Management: Ensure completion of assignments within appropriate budget and time frames.
- Client Portfolio: Manage your own portfolio of clients, maintaining and building relationships with key individuals.
- Client Support: Proactively meet and talk to clients, provide support and advice as required, and be the point of contact at the firm.
- Trainee Support: Provide training and supervision to trainees.
- Networking and Business Generation: Engage in networking and business development to build your client portfolio.
- Reporting: Report to the Partners of the firm.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have demonstrable and practical experience in accountancy practice. You may be a qualified accountant with previous experience in a similar role or close to/newly qualified and ready to take on a more responsible role within a practice.
Key Skills and Experience:
- ACCA/ACA or QBE (or close to qualifications)
- Excellent client relationship skills
- Highly commercial approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proactive approach, prepared to go the extra mile
- Strong IT skills and willingness to learn new systems
- Enjoys working within a team and supporting more junior team members
- Previous experience in a client-facing role within an accountancy practice
Benefits
The client we are representing is offering a competitive remuneration package including:
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (Subject to applicants qualification and level of experience)
Holiday: 25 + Bank
