Operations Administrator

We are currently seeking a Senior Administrator/Scheduler to join our client's operations team. This role will involve providing administrative support to the Engineers and Directors, handling customer requests, and managing operational tasks. Candidates with a background in office administration in any sector, or experience in a similar manufacturing/engineering environment involving support for engineers and customer inquiries, are encouraged to apply.

Haw 3 Talent Solutions is operating as an employment business on behalf of its client for a permanent Operations Administrator/Scheduler based in Bridgwater, Somerset. Your role is to support the operations team and engineers with all administration, health and safety-related, and some purchasing tasks, to ensure the successful and timely delivery of all customer orders. The successful candidate should possess the qualities of being an enthusiastic and driven individual and have a desire to be part of a great and growing team.

The working hours can work in a few ways: 8.30am – 5.00pm or 8.00am - 5.00pm or 7.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday. The annual salary is Circa £32,000 - £36,000 PA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and updating RAMS on a regular basis, including site-specific documents
  • Allocating and overseeing staff H&S training, including toolbox talks
  • Overseeing subcontractor vetting, including maintenance of subcontractor records
  • Conducting weekly vehicle checks
  • Scheduling vehicles for routine and emergency maintenance
  • Purchasing, stock control, and general administration
  • Maintaining stock levels in line with company requirements
  • Ensuring correct allocation of stock to relevant jobs and/or depots
  • Completing customer PQQs and questionnaires
  • Maintaining company accreditation schemes
  • Creating project documents and files
  • Handling centre customer accounts
  • Undertaking other tasks as required by the Operations Department
  • Attending and participating in all relevant meetings
  • Collaborating effectively with other staff, including Field Technicians where necessary
