Coventry. Permanent. £45,000-£50,000 + 15% Bonus + Company Benefits.

Our global client are looking for an Telesales Manager (B2B) to ensure the internal sales team achieves it's annual customer retention growth and new business targets revenue. Through the effective deployment of the sales strategy, call cycle, business plans and commercial sales policies, whilst positively advocating and adhering to company standards and company core values.

This will be achieved by leading and driving the development of quality sales executives, engaging and inspiring, strong communication and sales coaching alongside close working relationships with all cross functional and central support teams, local and regional management.

Key resposibilities:

  • Responsible for recruitment, training and management of the internal sales team
  • Manage, coach and develop the team to ensure they exceed their revenue targets via acquisition of New Business Revenue, Extra Business from existing customers and regains from previous traders
  • Work to an agreed outbound call cycle to manage customers ensuring the team achieve minimum volume of meaningful telesales and review calls as set by the business.
  • Escalation calls to retain, build relationships and strengthen relationships
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, annual targets
  • Monitor the gathering and updating of accurate customer information using the company's Salesforce system and quality updates of acitivity
  • Correct usage of Salesforce - Log all activity, updates, customer status, Opportunites
  • Attend regular Team Meetings, contributing ideas to change and improve the customer experience and the performance of the team

Key People Management Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of internal Sales Executives (Around 10-12) who will generate, manage, develop and protect revenue, revenue quality and margin within their own areas of responsibility within the allocated sales territory
  • Responsible for the recruitment, retention, talent development and sales succession planning
  • Responsible for the team engagement, motivation and overseeing all tasks and assignments
  • Generates commitment, motivation and enthusiasm for the Brand, Company and Division Inspirational leadership
  • Leads and manages the team/s, determines internal Sales team structures, roles and performance targets in cooperation with division leadership, commercial, finance, National Direct Sales Manager and ultimately VP - Sales
  • Evaluates performance and takes appropriate action when and where required to address underperformance and recognise and reward success across sales compensation and recognition schemes
