Then this is the position for you! We are currently recruiting for an established Manufacturing organisation that is looking to bring in a Senior Buyer into their team due to an internal promotion. This role covers a range of responsibilities and will allow the successful person to really get involved in complex contract negotiations from a high level.
So what would your responsibilities be?
- Developing and implementing regional strategies
- Build relationships with key suppliers
- Evaluate and select new suppliers
- Audit suppliers
- Sourcing raw materials
- Manage Tenders & RFQ process
- Full contract negotiation including pricing, rebate & SLA
- Resolve supplier or product issues
But what experience do you need?
- Over 3 years experience within Manufacturing Direct Buying.
- Experience buying plastics is highly desirable
- CIPS Qualification is highly desirable but training support is given if you want to become qualified
- You must have full contract negotiation experience including pricing, rebate & SLA
