About the role

These are exciting times at JRF/JRHT, where we are continuing the transformation of our services, supported by the move to our new Finance and Housing Systems. This role is pivotal to that continued improvement, providing a resident focused rent and service charge setting service. It will lead the work in this area - providing the key organisational link across the JRHT Finance, Housing and Community Services, Development, and Asset Management teams. This will ensure that our rent, service charges and other charges are transparent to residents and new customers (applicants).

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience of working within the social housing sector and a recent track record in working with rents, leasehold and service charges. In return we can offer the opportunity to work in a truly values-driven organisation and a fantastic benefits package.

About you

With prior knowledge of rents, service charges and leasehold and a good understanding of the legislation and regulations which underpin them, you will be ready to drive our work in this area during the project. You will also be able to support us to establish ongoing ways of working which ensure transparency and consistency for our residents.

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build a rapport with a wide range of stakeholders, often having to convey complex ideas in simple, easily understood terms. You will be meticulous by nature, with a keen attention to detail.
