Our client is seeking a Goods In Administrator to join their team. As a Goods In Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the supply chain process. With your excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, you will ensure that goods are received, recorded, and processed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Place orders, track progress, and chase deliveries with suppliers, port agents, and hauliers.
  • Record electronic data and administrate paperwork for goods received.
  • Input all required data accurately and promptly onto the stock database.
  • Monitor supply and expected arrival dates of goods.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers.
  • Source specialist suppliers and negotiate prices.
  • Monitor subcontract workers and other visitors to the site.
  • Support and liaise with all departments within the company.
  • Help maintain Health and Safety standards.
  • Assist with implementing new procedures and processes to improve product supply and purchasing tasks.
  • Provide support to other areas of the department and assist with stock-takes.
  • Carry out general purchasing administration duties.
  • Liaise with the Line Manager to resolve complex queries and discrepancies.
