Salary:

£up to 40k

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday, core working hours

Location:

Fareham / Southampton

Dynamite recruitment is working in partnership with a very well-established business

Due to expansion our client is looking for someone to join their Technical team and support clients with any technical issues that they have.

Work alongside the other areas of the business you will help to help grow and develop the support service and improve a post install service.

Key tasks will include the following:

  • Manning a technical support phone line, helping to diagnose issues over the phone and support customers with their technical queries
  • Supporting the management and administration of the CRM system that's in place
  • Liaising with installers and customers to arrange installations and technical work
  • Working alongside a technical support manager to grow and develop technical support within the business
  • Supporting with any issues onsite and support with the completion of install for the customer.
  • Remote troubleshooting, accessing customers systems and liaising with partners to identify and resolve the issue.
  • To liaise with customers via, online chat, phone calls, emails, and face to face enquiries.
  • Support with new product introduction, this will include product testing, data entry, and completing test reports where required.
  • Support the ongoing development of existing products.
  • Support with warranty returns, tracking faulty equipment and facilitating the completion of the return and replacement/refund process.
  • Produce reports and statistics as required

The ideal Technical Advisor will have / be

  • Has previously worked in a senor technical support role
  • Assertive, resilient and someone who is adaptable to change
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Good IT skills, Word and Excel
  • Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure /cost of poor quality
  • Good planning skills and able to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail skills Ability to work as part of a team.
  • You must have worked within the Solar industry previously and have experience with grow watt systems or similar
  • You will have experience in trouble shooting posy installation issues
