Milk Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant Level 2 for a Primary School in Salford (M6) to work on a long-term basis starting as soon as possible and will continue until December 2024!! This Teaching Assistant Level 2 job will involve supporting the class teacher with the day to day running of the classroom and will be based in a year 2 class. You will also be expected to work with groups of children and occasionally on a one to one basis as and when required. This Teaching Assistant Level 2 job is full-time and the working hours will be 08:30am- 15:30pm Monday to Friday, with a 30 minute lunch break.
Teaching Assistant Level 2- Role & Responsibilities:
- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children
- Support children consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
- Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans asappropriate
- Deliver catch-up sessions
Teaching Assistant Level 2- Non-negotiables:
- Have either a relevant childcare qualification Level 2 or Level 3 or above
- Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, mspecifically those with SEND within the past two years
- Must have a passion for education
- Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
- Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
