Maintenance Staff (Temporary)

We are currently seeking temporary staff to fill various roles including Caretakers, Handymen, Gardeners, Maintenance Workers, Site Managers, and Premises Managers. These positions are ideal for individuals who are skilled in facilities maintenance and management, and are available for summer cover in various settings such as schools, residential homes, and hospitals.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks in a variety of areas and assign maintenance requests as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment, addressing any issues promptly.
- Oversee and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of outdoor areas, including gardening and landscaping tasks.
- Manage site operations, ensuring that all facilities meet health and safety standards.
- Coordinate with management and other staff to ensure smooth operation of the site.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role within maintenance, gardening, or site management.
- Ability to perform a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- A valid DBS check will be required.
- References from previous jobs are essential.
