We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher for morning sessions and PPA cover in the afternoons. This role is perfect for a qualified teaching professional who is passionate about early childhood education and is looking for a full-time, permanent position starting in September.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conduct morning sessions with Nursery pupils aged 3-4 from 9 am to 12 pm, providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that meet the needs of young children.
  • In the afternoons, provide PPA cover for Reception, Year 1, and Year 2, ensuring continuity of education and care.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement the curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and providing feedback to parents and carers.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment that encourages children to explore and learn.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience in early years education, particularly with Nursery-aged children.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Ability to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
