SEN Teaching Assistant
Reception/EYFS

£90- £105 day
?SANZA Teaching Agency are currently supporting a creative, community, 2-form entry primary school in Ealing (Ealing Broadway). They are seeking an active, adaptable teaching assistant to join their team!
The successful candidate will be working on a 1:1 basis with a child in reception who has special needs/SEN (Autism).
Key responsibilities:
- Support student with SEN/special needs on a 1:1 basis
- Supporting children with their learning and development
- Providing feedback to the class teacher on children's progress
- Preparing learning resources and materials
- Helping with the supervision of children during break times
- Maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment
Requirements:
- Experience working in a primary school, preferably in the EYFS
- A good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- Experience supporting children with SEN (Autism)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Understanding of pre-verbal communication methods and strategies??
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and the ability to adapt them to meet individual needs??
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs??
