Assistant Manager Payroll - £60,000 - £62,000 + Bonus - Docklands (London)
Frazer Jones are delighted to be supporting a leading name within financial services on the recruitment of a Assistant Payroll Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.
Our client is offering hybrid working with 2/3 days per week required into the office.
The Role:
- Process monthly and ad hoc multi-jurisdictional payrolls, ensuring all employees are accurately paid by the due dates in each location.
- Administer payroll in strict adherence to established processes and controls, maintaining 100% accuracy and compliance with relevant jurisdictional legislation, regulations, and other requirements.
- Collate system data reports to identify and verify adjustments prior to payroll processing.
- Ensure new starters, leavers, and changes to standing and variable data are accurately recorded, managed, and processed through the relevant payroll system.
- Produce payroll reports, verify adjustments, and conduct self-reviews of work before submitting for the next level of internal review.
- Collaborate with third-party payroll providers, ensuring they receive accurate information on time, conducting an initial review of their work, and escalating any issues or concerns appropriately.
- Perform the first and final review of payroll reports generated by outsourced payroll providers, ensuring accuracy in data and calculations and that all requested monthly adjustments are reflected.
- Review the preparation of accurate funding reconciliations and provide instructions to Finance for arranging payroll funding on time, in accordance with bank cut-off dates and times.
- Monitor multiple bank accounts to ensure that payroll funding has cleared in sufficient time to meet the pay due dates in each jurisdiction.
- Maintain accurate and well-documented payroll records.
- Respond to and resolve payroll-related queries from employees, management, and outsourced payroll providers in a professional and timely manner.
