If Sports is your thing, then we have a superb opportunity for you as a Sports Teaching Assistant at a fantastic SEND School in Hanworth! This is a full time Monday-Friday 8:30 to 4pm role starting September 2024!
Previous experience within a school setting as a Sports Teaching Assistant preferred, however you must have had previous experience with children in the UK
The Role:
- To provide sports support, assist in PE lessons and activities for whole groups and classes alongside the classroom teacher
- As a Sports Teaching Assistant you will accompany and supervise groups of pupil during classroom activities
- As a Sports Teaching Assistant you will be required to work under the direction of the PE Teacher
- You will work alongside other adults, including Teachers, Lunch time Supervisors and other support staff in the supervision of the students.
Requirements:
- Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
- Recent experience working with children in a school or alternate environment is preferential but you must have previous experience with children in some capacity in the UK.
- Enjoy working with children and seeing them progress with their learning
- Already have or willing to apply and pay for a Child Only DBS
- Either live in Hanworth or within a commutable distance
