Graduate BREEAM Assessor

This is an exciting new opportunity for someone who is passionate about sustainability and construction. This growing and progressive company is looking to take on a graduate BREEAM Assessor. This company cuts through the greenwashing and apathy and provides meaningful change to an industry that needs it.

In this role you will be advising clients on how to reduce the environmental impact of different buildings through the use of systems like BREEAM, HQM and DREAM. You will be responsible for compiling environmental suitability reports, which will help assess the environmental impact of buildings based on energy, pollution, waste, land use and materials used.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Knowledge or awareness of BREEAM is essential.
  • Working on a wide variety of projects, with multiple clients, across all industry sectors
  • Becoming familiar with and keeping abreast of industry/sector initiatives through regular CPD'S
  • Team player capable of working in a team.
  • Excellent at project management and planning your own workload, dealing with competing deadlines.
  • Good communication skills- verbal and written.
  • Good computer (Microsoft 365) skills.
  • A passion for sustainability.
  • Ideally educated to degree level in Environmental Science, Geography, Sustainability, Building Services, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Potential for conducting embodied carbon Life Cycle Assessment modelling to assess carbon impact of construction materials on projects using OneClick LCA
  • Potential for development into various sustainability services including energy and sustainability statements for planning and IES-VE Modelling
