We are currently seeking an Applications Engineer for a client in the Bradford area who is one of the top 3 providers of Gaskets and sealing solutions Worldwide to the Oil, Gas and process industries. From valves to heat exchangers, they develop the best solutions They even have a school of joint integrity that companies like BP and Shell send their people to.
They want a Design Engineer who is good with calculations as there are a few involved in the design process and FEA.
You'll get to meet customers looking at their problems both domestic and sometimes abroad so customer exposure at some point in your career would be good. It's a hybrid role ultimately but you would need to be onsite for your first 6 months of initial training.
