Pertemps are looking for Lab Technicians to join our client's team in Colnbrook!
Salary:
£25,000 - £30,000 Dependent on experience
Location:
Colnbrook
Perm / Full time / Mon-Fri 08:00-17:30
Main duties of a Lab Technician:
- Data entry of test results
- Following stringent quality procedures to perform testing
- Various testing on soil and concrete
- Liaising with the quality department to book in calibration or report equipment failure
- Always maintaining a clean working area
- Any other tasks assigned by your senior or lab manager
- Assisting with UKAS audits
- Ensuring to meet the current turn around times for in-house testing
Experience / Skills required to be a Lab Technician:
- Educated to GCSE level or above with a good level of numeracy and literacy
- Experience in construction laboratory testing is advantageous but not essential
- IT literate
- Must be comfortable with team and lone working
- Important data entry will be a crucial part of this role, so a keen eye for detail and accuracy is essential.
