Enterprise Architect

£80,000 - £90,000 per annum
Company client partnered with a leading specialty insurance organisation looking to hire a Enterprise architect on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity, the business are seeking the modernisation of the existing platform adopting a 'Cloud First' strategy. You will be responsible for building the roadmap for modernisation working closely with heads of business to determine current and future needs.
Key Accountabilities:
Determining the technology system architecture and functional design needed to support and meet company business goals
Setting the context, defining common elements and creating patterns and standards to apply the details at a project level
Assisting management and stakeholders in evaluating the business' mission and ensuring that the company uses its IT assets effectively
Documenting the process using multiple architectural models
Generating graphic representations and abstracts of the system architecture models
Evaluating existing IT systems for exposure or weaknesses that could compromise performance, security or efficiency
First-hand experience developing and building models based on The Enterprise Framework
Implementing shared infrastructure to optimise information management systems
Experience required:
5+ years of experience Previous experience of working in Insurance, particularly in the Lloyd's Market
Expertise in one cloud platform, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
Strong knowledge of architecture and integration patterns
Excellent understanding of cloud-native, microservices, and event-driven architectures
