I am seeking a Communications Officer to join my client's team (Public Sector) This role involves crafting engaging and relevant content across various platforms to enhance communication strategies. The ideal candidate will lead social media management efforts and contribute significantly to online and offline presence.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Write compelling copy for both printed and online publications, including case studies, social media posts, and press releases.
  • Lead the management of social media channels, ensuring content is timely, relevant, and engaging.
  • Respond to social media comments and interactions in a professional manner to maintain and enhance audience engagement.
  • Analyse and report on key social media analytics to guide strategy adjustments and boost online presence.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure consistency in communication efforts and alignment with overall business objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Communications Officer or similar role
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce creative content for a variety of audiences.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and understanding of digital marketing strategies.
  • Ability to analyse data and provide insights on social media performance.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
