Community Works Operative / Refuse Loader Dingwall Temporary - Immediate start for 3 months with possible extension Pay rate: £12.45 per hour Hours: Monday-Thursday 7am - 3pm & Friday 7am - 2:30pm
Our public sector client located in Dingwall is looking for a Community Works Operative on a temporary basis for an initial 3 month period, starting immediately. Experience is desirable however full training will be given. This role involves heavy duty labouring and you will be required to work out doors in all weathers therefore we are ideally looking for people who enjoy working outdoors.
Safety boots are required for this position and not provided by the client however you will be supplied with all other necessary PPE.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To load the collection vehicle for the new food waste service
- Working as part of a team
- Loading behind refuse/recycling lorry
- Manual lifting of bulky items etc.
- Deliver/uplift recycling/refuse containers
- Delivery of advisory leaflets
- Clear fly tipping etc
- Uplift of dead animals/birds/mammals etc
- Any other work as directed by supervisor/foreman
