Senior Business Analyst

Senior Business Analyst required by our market leading, award winning, retail sector client based in Avonmouth. Our client is currently embarking on a large transformation programme and require an experienced, Senior BA to join their transformation team.

This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days a week onsite but with flexibility.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility and lead the business analysis capability for the transformation programme.
  • Improve business processes and own project documentation and templates relating to business analysis throughout project lifecycles.
  • Deliver analysis activities within projects, including stakeholder mapping, SWOT analysis, process maps and business requirements.
  • Prioritise initiatives and requirements based on solid frameworks and data driven analysis.
  • Support and guide the business analysis function within the business.
  • Build productive relationships with the business to support elicitation of requirements.

Required Background:

  • High level of analytical and problem-solving skills, ideally within a retail environment.
  • Recent experience of working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in mapping business processes.
  • Supportive approach, guiding the business to challenge the status quo.
  • Structured planning, organisation and time management skills.
  • Keen interest in business process, business analysis, and industry and market trends.
  • Background and experience of working in Technology and Transformation teams.
  • Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience of defining and operating within data management best practice frameworks.
