Community Link Worker Women's Service

Morgan Hunt are proud to be working with Together for Mental Wellbeing in their search for 2 X Community Link Workers for their Bluebird Service.

Forming part of the Integrated Community Pathway Service on the Offender's Personality Disorder Pathway, the Bluebird Service provides support, advocacy and advice to women in the community prior to their release from prison.

Enabling hard to reach women to engage and maintain an improved quality of life, the role of the community link worker is to assist service users using the service and empower them with knowledge about support to access.

Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Enabling individuals to find out about and access appropriate services
  • Enabling individuals to develop confidence in engaging with relevant services
  • Empowering individuals through promoting independence
  • Contributing to the management of risk for the person, including raising safeguarding concerns

We're looking for someone with experience working with mental health and complex social care needs. You will have the ability to manage a diverse range of service users and the ability to form effective inter-agency relationships, e.g. health, probation, social services etc.
