As the Assistant Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Completing bank account reconciliations.
- Journaling onto the Sage system, ensuring the retention of an audit trail.
- Evaluating the current reconciliation process.
- Reviewing and reconciling key balance sheet accounts as part of the month-end process, adhering to strict deadlines.
The ideal candidate will hold a qualification to AAT Level 4 and possess the capability to "hit the ground running." Given the dynamic nature of this department, there may be occasions when assistance in other areas is required to meet deadlines.
