Your new company
This shared service centre is looking for a purchase ledger clerk to join their team on a permanent basis. This role sits in the Cash & Banking department and allows you to get involved with process improvement and project work.
Your new role
On a day-to-day basis, you are responsible for:
- Ensure bank statements are downloaded and reconciled in a timely and effective manner
- Process payment runs on a daily basis
- Review manual payments requests and process accordingly
- Monitor and control all supplier direct debts
- Responsible for reconciliation and submission of invoice discounting
- Deal with queries in a timely manner
What you'll need to succeed
- You will have previous experience in a similar Purchase ledger position ideally in manual payments
- Proficient in excel and ideally you will have SAP or Oracle knowledge.
- You will have great attention to detail and enjoy investigating.
