Mail Room Operative

£16 per hour (umbrella)
Full Time Contract (2 Months)
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Mail Room Operative in Camden. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours. This role is fully office based.
The job:
- To assist the Central Mail staff in providing a full Mail service to the organisation and contribute to the achievement of the agreed Service Levels
- To help sort, scan and deliver post across the building
- To deliver parcels and stationery around the building
- Use Mail Room equipment including letter opener, letter inserters and franking machines within agreed procedures
- Use Excel to record and track post items
The candidate:
- Experience of working in a Mail Room and using Mail Room equipment
- Extensive knowledge of working practice and procedures in a mailroom environment.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety at work issues is desirable
