- Extensive Social Work experience within Adults services
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and autism
This is an excellent opportunity to work with an Learning Disabilities team based in South West London as a Qualified Social Worker, which offering you a laptop and mobile phone so you can work flexibly as well as from home when you have reports saving you time and money. (You will be required to be work 1 day in the office on duty and attending face to face visits)
For this post you will be working with complex needs cases and promoting independence, as the authority is seeking a qualified social worker with good knowledge of strength-based approach. They provide services to people with learning disabilities and their carer's, working closely with our health colleagues to promote good health, well being and independence to our residents.
You will manage a long-term case load, participate in the duty rota and take a lead role in delivering robust safeguarding enquiry reports. Also, you will be supported by a strong management team to enable you to deliver a service that maximises our vulnerable resident's independence and safeguards them.
