Our client, Lincolnshire County Council, is seeking a senior practitioner for its Adult Safeguarding team – are you interested? Or can you refer a friend for £250 if placed?
This is a full-time post, lasting 4 months. Competitive pay rate available.
The role will involve the following:
- Be part of an exciting pilot within Lincolnshire Adult Safeguarding Team.
- To supervise a team of Safeguarding Officers to ensure that safeguarding referrals are triaged in line with our duties under The Care Act 2014.
- To be a confident decision maker who has risk assessment at the heart of their decision making and bases their judgement on evidence and 'what works' for individuals and ensure that resources are committed on the basis of understanding risks.
- 1 day per week office based in Sleaford (after the initial induction period)
Requirements of the role:
- Qualified Social Worker
- Fully Social Work England registered
- Must have strong post-qualified experience working in adult social care
- Must have specialist safeguarding experience and knowledge
- Must have management/supervisory experience
