Financial Lines Claims Advocate - Leading Lloyd's International Broker (6 Month FTC, Based in the City of London)

Your new company is a well-established Leading International Lloyds Broker with attractive and spacious offices based in the City of London seeking a Financial Lines Claims Advocate on a 6-month FTC.
Your new role
In your new role you will be handling Financial Lines claims from cradle to grave (specifically D&O Claims), you will be ensuring that performance records are up-to-date and maintaining accurate records, regularly dealing with incoming correspondence appropriately, developing strong relationships with the market and creating comprehensive claims documents, presenting claims to underwriters, dealing with queries, providing feedback and responding appropriately to clients, insurers and relevant internal departments following up the status of the claim.
You will also be expected to keep clients and insurers informed of the developments of their claims, you will need to be capable of building relationships with clients and key stakeholders, undertaking prompt and accurate processing of collections, fee payments and other relevant data and information on company systems in order to support high levels of client service and enable completion of internal processes.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will need extensive Claims experience within the Financial Lines class of business, in depth knowledge of the Lloyd's Insurance market, a great knowledge of the Claims handling process and a really strong understanding of the Financial Lines classes, including whom the main players in the market are and specific, territory knowledge in relation to the Financial Lines class of business.
