The client are a global FMCG (Food & Drink) company that are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable to join the team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have approximately 5 years of experience as an AP and will have experience working in the FMCG sector. The head office is based in the West End (Hammersmith) and the company are growing very quickly.

The client are a global FMCG company that specialise in permanent food production. The head office is based in Hammersmith and they are keen to get an experienced Accounts Payable to join the team on a permanent basis. You will be managing the end to end AP process and will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Financial Controller. On top of that, the Senior Accounts Payable will have the chance to grow a team underneath them as the team and business grow.
Description
The successful Senior Accounts Payable will:
- End to end management of the Accounts Payable ledger
- Management of the AP inbox
- Management of the AP ledger
- 3 way matching
- Processing of the AP invoices
- Payment runs - twice a week
- Multi-currency bank reconciliations (GBP, EURO)
- Aged creditor report
- Processing the VAT returns
- Assist with the production of the financial reports and audits
Profile
The successful Senior Accounts Payable will have:
- 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role
- 2/3 years in a senior position
- MUST be working in the food production (stock based) industry - will also look at others, however food and drink is preferred
- Studying towards the ACCA or CIMA qualification (not essential)
- Prior working knowledge of SAP Business One (desirable, not essential)
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- £38,000 - £45,000
