Randstad is excited to partner with Gateshead's Audit and Complaints Team to recruit a dedicated and skilled Team Manager.
Our team is focused on ensuring that services are delivered to the highest standards through effective auditing and handling of complaints.

Job Description:

Are you an experienced social worker with strong leadership skills and a passion for quality assurance and complaints management?
In this role, you will oversee team operations, manage complex cases, and ensure the effective auditing and resolution of complaints.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the Audit and Complaints Team, providing supervision, guidance, and support to team members.
  • Conducting comprehensive audits of services to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Providing expert advice and decision-making support on complex cases and complaints.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and service users to improve service delivery.
  • Monitoring team performance, implementing improvements, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of audits, complaints, interventions, and outcomes in line with legal and professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in a social work role, with significant experience in a leadership or management position.
  • Strong analytical, auditing, and complaints management skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social care and safeguarding.
