A new exciting permanent opportunity has become available for a Business Intelligence Analyst who is proficient in data analysis, adept at making data-driven decisions, and skilled in visually presenting data insights. This role is perfect for a creative problem-solver with strong communication skills, who thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable interacting with project stakeholders working within a business intelligence fast growing company.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Manage tasks and projects with accurate planning and updates for traceability and work completion records.
  • Estimate and report on project pipelines.
  • Support and develop existing projects with ongoing improvements.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools to track performance metrics.
  • Analyse data sets to extract meaningful insights and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Perform ETL operations to ensure accurate data extraction, transformation, and loading into databases.
  • Optimize database queries and BI tools for better performance.
  • Work closely with business teams to understand requirements and ensure data governance, accuracy, security, and compliance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and support data-driven decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Ability to create effective reports and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with SQL for data manipulation and querying.
  • Experience with Microsoft applications such as Excel, Access, Power BI, and Power Query.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent planning and time management.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to support decision-makers.
  • Collaborative abilities and a team-oriented mindset.

Desirable Experience:

  • Azure Microsoft DevOps.
  • Previous coding experience.
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo and demonstrating a critical-thinking mindset.
  • Adaptable and open to change.

Working Hours:
