Vacancy: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Hull (HU12)
Hours: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off shift pattern (06:30 - 18:30, 18:30 - 06:30)
Salary: £41,950
On behalf of a Leading Chemical Industry client, we are looking to recruit an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their Team based in Hull on a "Permanent" basis.
As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be Electrically biased and be responsible the maintenance of a variety of Machinery and Equipment on site ensuring that operators can work safely, and that the machinery can operate efficiently.
The successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will:
- Electrically biased
- Knowledge of PLC either programming or the ability to interrogate the programme
- Ensure work area is always safety compliant.
- Be "Time Served" with appropriate Engineering qualifications.
- Carry out all work following the appropriate Health and Safety procedures.
- Be responsible for carrying out Planned and Reactive Maintenance in a timely and efficient manner to ensure loss of production is kept to a minimum.
- Have Mechanical knowledge/skills.
- Be able to work from Engineering Drawings
- Ideally have experience within Chemical Industry
As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be an excellent communicator and have practical, hands-on way of working. You will be a good team player and be able to follow verbal instructions.
The role of Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer has a starting salary of £41950 (this includes shift allowance). The successful candidate will be working on 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off shift pattern (06:30 - 18:30, 18:30 - 06:30) with 33 days holiday including bank holidays.
