We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurses to join our team and support nurseries based in Loughborough and surrounding areas.
We are a working with warm and welcoming nurseries located in Loughborough, dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow, learn, and explore. Our focus is on fostering the holistic development of each child through creative play, educational activities, and positive interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the learning and development of children aged 0-5 years in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
- Work in partnership with parents/carers, providing feedback on children's progress and daily activities.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and progress.
- Collaborate with other nursery staff to create a fun, safe, and stimulating environment.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a Nursery Nurse or in a similar childcare role.
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Up-to-date Paediatric First Aid certification (desirable).
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
